Twin Plenum throttle shafts. Hi my name is Reg Downer, A friend of mine has a twin plenum and one of his shafts had snapped and the other looked liked it was soon to fail. We tried everwhere but soon found out they are no longer available.
 
So I had drawing of the shafts made and have now had the first two produced which I Will get him to check the fit. I have had them made 1.5 thou thicker to take account of wear in the bearings, these may in some cases need a cleanup with a reamer?

It occurred to me that others with twin plenums may also be in need of new shafts? The shafts currently work out at £85 a pair, appreciate this maybe considered quite expensive but the machinist had to make up a jig and purchase the material it seemed reasonable to me considering they are no longer stocked.
